Nothing to Lose
In the cacophony
of sound,
the crows stood out,
the lawnmower
started and stopped,
the dogs barked,
but became quiet.
It was the crows which
sang from morning to
evening, persistent
and loud.
They sang as if they
had nothing to lose.
But they gained
my interest.
