Adaptation
A Chinese proverb suggests: “The wise adapt themselves to circumstances, as water moulds itself to the pitcher.”
A refreshing Sign of Life, pure thirst-quenching water is clear, colorless, tasteless, formless, shapeless and free-flowing.
Nothing is more flexible and yielding than the Water Cycle.
We all must learn to deal with the enigmatic world as it actually is rather than as it ought
to be. Adapting to fickle climate change, we should positively encourage and support eco-friendly
green planet innovations. The Digital Ages’ rapidly changing Generation XS Facebook Yahoos are using
savvy social networking to transform a dot com Brave New Wwworld Order in which open-minded, flexible
attitudes, everyday life survival coping skills and ability to constantly adapt, then just do it, represent skeleton keys.
Darwin observed that “survival of the fittest” referred to neither the strongest nor the most intelligent
of the species, but to those humanimals most flexible and adaptable to change. The mightiest natural
species are those that can assimilate eco-environmental shifts without losing their fundamental
identity and acclimation instincts. To avoid extinction, a Status Quo Vadis neo-Modern Manifesto
presents insightful pragmatic optimists with progressive future strategies to map their own futures,
focusing on:
overcoming adversity, replaced instead with peaceful coexistence;
empowering creative thinking and innovative discovery options;
abandoning uncivil wrongs, unbalanced inequities and preconceived defeatist notions;
tearing down discriminatory separatist frontier barriers;
daring remote controlled authorities to take calculated risks;
departing from the familiar with unique perspective visions; and
facing the exciting challenge of change head-on.
“One size fits all” no longer suits tailor-made multiversity encompassing diverse demands cut from many textures
and cloths. The in-transition global realignment transformation is generating a dramatic shift based on verifiable
Fact rather than blind Faith – from West to East, from the Atlantic to the Pacific, from National to Regional shared
interest collective problem-solving and cooperative decision-making.
