Aquarius

How long have I been sitting here,
O Nautilus
shell densely wedged beneath this hopeful wisp
of sapphire sky
or pared-back moon,
my February gray?

On Love

I held onto one butterfly
and watched.
Nothing happened.

You held onto one butterfly
and let it dance.
Something whispered.
It soared above the trees
and landed.
