Who's Falling?
Stay.
Just Stay.
In my heart and all around me.
I sit, in Love.
I stew, in Love.
I twirl, in Love.
I lye in a bed of Love.
Forget about 'Falling in Love.'
I am already inside of Love.
I see, Love.
I am being, sweet Love.
I beat Love's drum.
I toot her horn.
I wear her antlers around on top of my head.
'Fall in Love?'
Love is between my legs.
Love runs through my body.
It streams through.
Caresses along.
Sings above.
Touches.
And most importantly,
Love, loves.
Love, that undeniable, lovable verb.
But, It's still so easy.
Because we are already, Love.
Love sees.
Love breeds.
Love smells deliciously.
Be a blossom.
Love that blossom.
I take it to my hungry nose.
Let it lift and sift through the air.
I allow it to fall on my tongue.
To moisten my lips.
Love sees all.
Love opens to hear all.
Love is worn on the middle of my chest.
I heart love!
Fall away all else.
All I want to know is Love's name.
Who's Falling, did you say?
Love stays with me,
no matter what,
rising within.
All else, falls away.
"Love, it's a strong word, evoking much passion.
I sometimes feel the phrase "Falling in Love,"
is disempowering.
Who made that up?
I know, you're thinking "It's just a phrase!"
But, in a world where words are just thrown around,
We can increase the beauty of our heartfelt words,
by meaning what we say, and saying what we mean.
I am taking "Falling in Love," out of my vocabulary.
I am Rising in Love. Rising 'With' Love. Rising 'To' Love.
May all else fall away in each one of our precious lives."
Gaia Standing has worked steadily for three years on a speculative science
fiction novel taking place in New York City. It is currently being reviewed, and assigned
to a literary agent and publisher.
Gaia had another article published by Ascent Aspirations in 2006,
called 'Written,' about following ones wild and romantic dreams on a wave
that splashes and transforms into yet another configuration of a dream we
hadn't realized or seen within ourselves before.
Gaia lives in Vancouver, Canada, after living in NYC, LA, Santa Barbara, Nelson,
BC, and the Midwest. She was born in Virginia Beach, VA where farmland and beaches
meet harmoniously. She has worked as a Production Assistant in Los Angeles reading
scripts and writing synopsis' on them in 2003-04.
She looks forward to you picking up a copy of her first novel, as she undergos
writing the second.
