When writing, it is important not always to wait for the Muse to appear but rather, to sit down and begin. Wonderful things can happen when thoughts are put into the written word.

I live close to downtown Nanaimo, the second largest city on Vancouver Island with a population
of 80,000 friendly people. The harbour, yacht club and a waterfront, pedestrian walkway are all out my front
door. The Nanaimo harbour is very busy and I enjoy watching seaplanes both take off and land. Bald eagles
ride air currents while a flotilla of sail boats make their manoeuvres all year round.
