Surfer Girl Musings on Tuesday Night

Is CNN boring today?
No babies fried in microwaves?
Or missing married women
With totally respectable husbands?
Nice news ain’t adrenaline pumped.
Off to horoscopes to see if that
Old boyfriend you shouldn’t
Think of loves you, loves you not,
Still!? Gotta have a dream.
A daisy might be easier to believe.

Maybe Match.com to check out
The babes cuz hubbie is being
A pain in the ass again
And after all divorce is easy.
Just step out the door and sign.
Take the dog away too
While you’re at it.

Maybe Britney stubbed her toe.
Now that’s news.
Paparazzi’s pops made her trip
And she forgot the underwear again.
Uh oh, don’t forget the un-celeb,
Paris, the who’s who of dumb blondes.

Seventy-five junk e-mails
Screaming after Christmas sales.
Makes ya wanna have Christmas
After Christmas – 50%, 75%,
Oh yeah….

Gimme more! Gimme more!
Gimme more!

That ad of the 100 year old woman
transformed to twenty --
Don’t have ta get botox anymore,
Just fix yours eyes with this cream,
Your neck with that cream
Your howdy-doody mouth
With this cream
And drop dead at the price.

Shut off computer.

Picking a Bone with Stick Figures

It was reported
that the biggest problem
in the N.Y.C. subways was
an unusually high number
of dancers, actresses,
models - are fainting.

Dying to be skinny,
subsisting on lettuce & yogurt
they run to runways,
anxious auditions
that pick a bone
with curves.
